Well, have you ever thought of feeling out the vibes from your "audience" whoever that may be. 6 - 6 million people. Come up with a couple of songs, and perfect the groove you wanna use. Play the songs as intros, outros, and rythms to blend different songs together. Do that over the course of some time, and see if you can get an idea of what your fans like most and go from there. Hell who knows, you could even do a single, or album with all reggae covers.
I would also suggest no matter what song you did pick, that it would be one that has, or could potentially have with the right tweaking, a basic ska sounding beat. To me SKA is more in tempo with punk, and makes for a more smoother transition between the two styles.
