There's a very good interview with Winston Grennan in More Axe 8 that I really could recommend anyone reading. Can't remember if Tin Legs is mentioned in there though.

The book is still available I think. If interested send a mail to Ray Hurford (smallaxepeople@tiscali.co.uk) to check.

Responding to Lion's Now Generation lineup..... Santa Davis wasn't in Now Gen, it was Mikey "Boo" Richards! But alot of people don't know that Santa was in the first incarnation of Roots Radics very briefly!

Winston Grennan was the Bernard Pretty Purdie of Reggae....great drummer, huge ego....I would take many of his claims with a pinch of salt. Saw him in the 80s with Kid Creole & Coconuts!

Santa played with Radics in loads of sessions (79-81?). Very distinctive.

Can someone confirm if "Put It On" (Lee Perry prod.) features Tin Legs? I just realized that the drummer bursts out same way as in 'Black Board Jungle' album.
