Hi Chaz,
thanks for stealing my words.
If you do so, then please 'quote' correctly.
@Leggo Rocker and all
'Introducing' has been made available again on a year 2000 release as 'Scientist at King Tubby's' on Al Campbell's Reggae Road label and is available on CD and vinyl (RRPRLP/CD 7)

Sorry Bellyman,
I thought I'd made it clear that I was quoting a previous message and not as you put it, "stealing"!
I'll make sure in future that I credit any sources quoted though.

Re: Scientist
How about Scientist & Jammy Strike Back (http://www.roots-archives.com/release/1296)? Is this particularly strong/weak? Is it rare? I love that sleeve...

Re: Scientist
Hey Jonti,
there are only three scientist tracks on 'strikes back'. It's a good album (linval thompson productions) but the stronger tracks here are Jammys in my opinion. Worth picking up if you see it - it's quite easy to get hold of - but not 'essential' scientist.

Re: Scientist
Personally I would recommend "Scientist Rids the World from the Evil Curse of Vampires".
Being produced by the late Henry "Junjo" Lawes and backed by the Roots Radics, with Scientist's, King Tubby style mixing (the influence is evident), this makes the album a mellow and heavy dub gem.

My vote goes for Dub Landing Vol1 (I'd like to second the guy who pointed out that "Beaming" is an AMAZING track.)
My question is this - my favorite stuff of Scientist is stuff like "Beaming" - the not purely instrumental dubs, but still really heavy and space age sounding. Any recommendations for other artists / albums which feature cuts of this style and quality?

Re: Scientist
Do you already have any vocal albums mixed by Scientist ?
