Yep, my iPhone does play vinyl. But only if I record them to MP3 first!

Music as files is a great thing. I wouldn't want to turn back the hands of time to cassette tapes etc.

But I still prefer vinyl.

As for portable record players, there were loads of them. Sharp used to make a ghetto blaster that had an vertical turntable!
