luckily i have low cholestorol and only eat free range, organically raised eggs from local farms. wouldn't have it any other way.
the farming industry is nasty.
check out anything written by michael pollan (pollen?), he is the guru on the evils of food industry as far as i am concerned.

and, er, Hitler... oops...
The Nazis were very into 'healthy' diets and lifestyle (channeling a pre-existing German movement to their own ends) - [The Nazi War On Cancer](http://www.amazon.com/Nazi-War-Cancer-R ... 064&sr=1-1) is a really interesting book - but Hitler wasn't vego, and if you've seen Downfall, I was struck by the scene where he has the dog Blondi 'put down' with cyanide (as part of a general mass suicide).

Two books I found good on the subject are [Eternal Treblinka: Our Treatment of Animals and the Holocaust](http://www.amazon.com/Eternal-Treblinka ... 160&sr=1-1), and, from a somewhat more partisan press, [Hitler: Neither Vegetarian Nor Animal Lover](http://www.amazon.com/Hitler-Neither-Ve ... 943&sr=1-1).

We don't need dairy. That's true. But a cow can be kept properly and a happy cow will gladly produce far more milk than its calve needs. I know this because I worked on a farm run by vegetarians. They had so much milk that even the large family couldn't consume it all even after making yogurt, cheeses etc etc. So they used to GIVE it away to their neighbours. The cow was fed on meadow grasses in the summer. And dried meadow grasses and sprouted alfalfa seeds (yes!) in the winter.

The milk was the very best I have ever tasted. Almost yellow in colour.

They also used the cows manure on the farm and in medicines. And also used the urine, which is the best disinfectant mother nature can provide.

If you put a cow pat on a bad flesh wound it will not go septic but instead heal very fast. This is absolutely true and part of the ancient knowledge that we are all losing because of the evil Babylon conspiracies.

God and nature have provided us with everything we need, but perhaps not everything we desire...

to support what said super ape I would remind some words of Yeshoua, who is the lord of Rasta, about the pure . The unpure is not what comes inside men's mouth it is what comes out of it.
( I also nearly stopped eating meat some months ago but still eat fish. I feel fine, but it's no rule, rastas no have no rule. One Love)
