For records you need a pushy on wheels like me granny uses to go to the shops. The whole joy about records is sorting out a selection for playing out, rather than all on one cd or other digital formats. The less connections you have the better the sound quility in analogue or digital. More connections, more wires, the signal changes and the more fine turning you have to do.

People are asking how do you get the sound of the music from 1985 - 1990!! It wasn`t done on digital equipment, it was recorded in real time, no edits, played live on a multitrack recorder. With a drum machine run live and not looped. You could run a beat box for 64 bars and interchange after 64 bars for drum rolls and the like, which today there`s too much fiddling around in editing.

Same with the editing software, like getting rid of little crackles and blips in old records, it may be a split second but it changes the whole feel and timing to it, and the more you do that the timing is not right.

All the lighters and throw away razors that are being washed up on beaches across the world, with tonnes of plastic floating in the sea thats`s not going to break down for 500 years, needs to be put to good use. Record pressing recycle the plastic that`s being dumped in the sea.
