We paid top dollar for some copies of this from a record seller who said they were dead stock from a member of 12 Tribes. Since we trusted the seller we purchased them at a high price. We have purchased and sold a few of the other 12 Tribes albums and all seem to be original press.

Re: Bootlegs.. we have turned down numerous offers of Diamond Baby and other obvious represses being sold as originals. Since the 12 tribes offer came from a trusted seller we assume they are legit.

Re: Shopstock in JA.....as with the Skengdon stuff that surfaced this last year you never know what will surface in JA.

skank corner.

Since he´s a buisness salesman, he will never reveal how much he paid.

maybe if youre in the usa nos might be warped from shrinkwrap, but most other places, and many in the usa, never shrinkwrap their records. records in europe and the uk were always sold with the covers in the bins and the actual record behind the counter. should not be a warp situation there. when uk/etc records are imported into the usa they are often shrinkwrapped but often that shrinkwrap is loose...again no warp situation. it is mostly made-in-usa and never exported records that have that problem. in my experience those joe gibbs 12" singles made in florida were the worst offenders and that was back when they were new releases. most i came across were unplayable for at least the first 30 seconds due to edge warp and i dont think shrink wrap caused that, poor quality control at the pressing plant did.
