Is this *really* supposed to be an ode to masturbation? I dunno, to be honest. It could definitely be interpreted that way...

i heard tosh in an interview with roger steffens'if iam not mistaken he was alluding to late 80)saying that it was about his sickness.he was once prey to a malaria with one of the highest temperatures that kept him in bed for weeks.so the 103 relates to that high temperature his body was subject to and it seemed that the whole of his body was belching fire.have to listen to this interview again but iam pretty sure that i heard him explain it to rasrojah.

Many Jamaican songs have a double entendre. Late night games sounds like could be a variety of things.

The song is sexy, no doubt. Sure a lot of children were born about 9 months after its release.

do folks not find that huge amounts of reggae lyrics have double meanings?

To me this is one of the big draws of reggae, the fact that Jamcains have such a powerful, humourus and poetic command of language.

For example there is another thread on RA that talks about all the meanings that Dread can have.

Can I just say I really dont care what it emans cause it gives everyone their own meaning. To me its just a state of chilling out and thats what i do when I ehar the song. Dont over analyze it. Jah be praised and ya'll keep on listening to Reggae.

What about Tosh's "Coming In Hot"? If there's another reggae song that's more obviously about masturbation without stating it overtly, then I've yet to hear it.

Not wanting to claim it as a definite fact but in John Masouris book, coming in hot is about Peter burning up with a fever. One real disappointment to me is how everyone seems, when talking reggae, to see double entendres everywhere. But some of it is illusion ,believe me.
