I agree with Arise Rootsman...

Viceroys' "Brethen and sistren" is by far, in my opinion, the greatest.

I like the both mad professor captures Pato Banton Albums
great lyrics and voice from the english singer and fantastic dub reggae music fom the mad professor

A lot of good ones have been mentionned but I would add an album whitch I really like even though it has a tiny 80' pop vibe : Joe Higgs, Blackman know yourself. It's 1986 I think and the Wailers are the backing band. The sound is excellent, clean style but excellent. If you forget the saxophone that plays on some parts,"Let us do something" is a wonderful song.

Wow surpised no one has mentioned Bunny Wailer: Tribute (1990?).

Revolutionary Drumbar and Basspear sound. Love dat!

don't forget Fams was one ofthe first to "invent" and use a drum machine, in the 70's

Don't forget Bitty McLean's "On Bond Street", which imho outshines all other efforts to sing new tunes on old riddims. And it's 2005.
