Was same way, I wanted this badly and when I heard it I was not completely blown away.
It has definitely grown on me though. Some VERY nice rhythms indeed.

I just say it's Jah Red album with Jah Red on the microphone.
You either like the bredrin style or don't but I wouldn't go as far as to say "he's not a good deejay'. He has some nice word play and a great vocab.
Just **1** of the many man style who decide to make an album.

The reason I said this was that I felt that he was stumbling a bit too much on his own words and not really following the rhythm. This is especially noticeable in one of the tracks (the title escapes me at the moment). But he didn't come off as rather technically skilled.
