Algoriddim, are you sure? Cause "Rebel Rock" is from 75 and "OK Fred" from circa 79.

What a great thread, an important piece of history documentation.
Some more roots albums that have dub versions:

Teddy Brown - Bad Man Wagon (Top Ranking International)
Dub: Fat Man Riddim Section - Wagon Of Dub

New Breed - Tribulation Time (Top Ranking International)
Dub: Fatman Riddim Section - Tribulation Dub

There must be so many more in the roots and early dancehall genre, do you know more that are not listed here yet?

Peace Pipe: Thanks for the info. Been trying to source the originals of Tribulation Dub to no avail. Never heard that album by New Breed but judging by the rhythms from the dub set it is probably quite heavy.

I found that New Breed album here:
http://www.discogs.com/New-Breed-Tribul ... se/3872409

Unfortunately I don't own it, but comparing the track titles with Tribulation Dub (Waisting Time vs Time Waisting, for example) this must be it.

As a sort of tribute to this place, I also converted this thread into a list on discogs:
http://www.discogs.com/lists/Vocal-albu ... ons/156383

And yes, Tradition In Dub! Isn't that the same as High Risk Dub?

Yes. The same album reissued, retitled and with great cover art.

Also a very nice Discogs list. I added it.

Great Discogs project, Peace Pipe. Very useful - thank you.

The Fatman Riddim Section released a dub of Jacob Miller's Mixed Up Moods titled Is It War Or Is It Peace?

http://www.roots-archives.com/release/5192

Does anyone know if it's the same as Tough Guys In Dub listed with Mixed Up Moods above?

Thanks.
