a real sleeper.... Rock Steady with Flo and Eddie... the singers of the Turtles doing old rocksteady numbers... definitely a surprise! the cover of the Heptones, Party Time is a KILLER! Musicians are Chinna, Pablo, Family Man,Santa , Sticky.. If anyone else enjoys this one let me know!

Amongst some/a lot of other things. I miscalculated my salary for this month and ended up with some extra money fi spend. As usual I invested it wisely in precious black gold! :)

Also bought "Cornell Campbell Disco Showcase" on Gorgon which from what I can gather is a compilation of, most of, his singles on the label. These three records in particular got me excited and I can't wait 'til the postman brings them my way.

Blimey! That's some serious albums, Nino! Been hunting the Keith Poppin and Jah Stone (a.k.a. singer Brimstone & Fire from what I've understood) for quite some time but they are always either in horrible condition or incredibly expensive. Good to see you've got them! The Cornell I've never even heard of (I think...)

My latest buy is *Dread Lion Dub* by Jah Lloyd. Brilliant set with some tough rhythms mixed at Tubby's by what appears to be Scientist (at least to the carefully tuned ears at Chatty Mouth). But really it's mostly 12" disco mixes I buy lately. LP's come further and further in between.

I do however have a couple of nice trades coming in when I return to Sweden at the end of next week. Some deep roots stuff mixed with some brilliant digital roots. Looking forward to see my turntable again.

Well, I'm gonna save my jumping-of-joy until I've actually received and listened to them. VG-gradings could mean anything really...I've bought some stuff from the same guy a couple of times and the gradings have always been fairly accurate but some people seem to have had issues with him. Fingers crossed!
