This sunday on my turntable :

Black Ark Players - Black Ark In Dub (blue vinyl)
One of my fav. dub albums, with some uncredited vocals too (Lacksley Castell, George Faith, Sangie Davis, Watty Burnett).
A set of unreleased tracks, issued by Lee Perry's ex-wife Pauline Morrison (behind his back).
Listen to 2nd track "Cool Rockers", cool it is for sure. Mystical bass driven, deep roots dub music ...

LP version sounds better than CD release

In reply to the opening post - that World War Dub has some interesting organ sounds - was there ever a Part Two?

VERY classic!
But in fact it's an early reissue (1977) of the 1975 "Dub Basket" LP.

Hi-fi back up and running , so today it's " Slum " - Gregory Isaacs In Dub ... then the manic counterpart of Gregory's " Mr. Isaacc's " - " Leggo Dub "

Today I'm listening to
[cover=1898]

Received this recently and haven't really had time to play it. So right now I'm on the first dub (and title track). Sounds very nice!

Hi Kalcidis,

What is the title of that lp (I can't read it from the picture)?. And who is the artist or mixer?

It's Sensimilla Dub by the Chariot Riders. http://roots-archives.com/release/2247 (previously you could click on the cover and be taken to the album page – a shame we lost that function)

Not so much info on R-A though. But the album was mixed by Bunny Tom Tom and Maxie. Here comes the info from back of the sleeve

Drums: Sly Dunbar
Bass: Robbie Shakespeare
Percussion: Skyjuice & Noel 'Scully' Simms
Piano: Ansell Collins
Organ: Ansell & Winston Wright
Guitar: Rad 'Dougie' Bryan, Bo Peep
Alto & Tenor Sax: Dean 'Youth Sax' Fraser

Recorded and mixed at Channel One
Exec. prod: Derrick 'Chariot' Harriot
Engineers: Bunny 'Tom Tom' & Maxie
Album art: 'Graffitti' Paco & Bagga
