Re: How old are you?
Am I the youngest reggae fan here?
16 years old and been listening to reggae since 13. Last two years I've been listening to strictly rocksteady, roots, dub, and 80's dancehall at least three hours every day.
I find new stuff every day and I'm slowly building up a collection of crucial cd-reissues and original LPs(but oh jah...they are so expensive for a poor student!). One of the many things I love about reggae, is that I'm certain there has been made enough to keep me entertained the next 50 years.
I know I will be jamming to reggae in 30 years as well, and by that time I will have quite a collection if I keep up with the buying!
I'm still a student for the next 2,5 year and I have a "job" at the local supermarket.
Much love and respect to the older people here, this site and forum is an amazing resource where I have learned a lot about the best music in the world.
But I must read on my homework for tomorrow, right now Big Youth - Whole Lot A Fire 12'' keeps me going!!
