Hi
respect to all the presents we are in the 21 century so everything is possible and since the last decade jump into the reggae scene christians reggae bands from america, or indian guys who sing reggae with indi lyrics in germany is the same the people adopt the reggae as music and link this music with his on religion happens with singer of reggae from new zealand they sing in maori in hawaii so dont get confuse
REGGAE is a type of music
ROCK is a type of music
this is only one world with many languages or dialects focus on spread a message of love and understanding, respect for the others
So ISLAMIC REGGAE WHY NOT

Moustafa wrote "I know that Alpha and Tiken Jah Fakoli are no muslims"

I don't know about alpha ,but i know that tiken is a muslim; he said it in several interviews. He also speaks about Allah in his songs.
So you can say in some way that tiken jah fakoli does a kind of islamic reggae... maybe :)

Ahoi,Confusius rules.I have to fully agree with Carlos, its all about Peace,Love,Overstanding and Respect. One aspect I would like to touch on is the difference between Reggae and Rasta, like to go to the forest and eat leaves and some Dreads driving around in their Hummers or Harleys, schisms and isms!Just yesterday I got the new album of Cheikh Lo,a brilliant Senegalese artist. He is a follower of the Baye Fall Brotherhood,a Sufi stream of Islam, who wear patchwork clothes and long dreads. On this album,Lamp Fall ,he does a great reggae track as,as well as a track,"Stop the War,please!"Nuff said, Greentings Samboerou

Time to start uniting and let people sing about what they want. Reggae isn't limited to a certain religion, it was created for one and all.

Word! I don't think that the muslims pretend to be rastafarians. they don't need to pretend to be someone who they don't are. Of course we are all praying to god. but still the muslims pray to allah and not to jah. The muslims don't believe that god appears in flesh and blood seen!!

NO! I dont say "Muslims pretends to be Rastas", is just in this topic somebody trying to explain WHY the Islam is MORE CLOSE THAT OTHERS RELIGIONS with the rasta philosophy! And they give arguments from the existence of some Muslims in reggae and some lyrics...
When i see Dmille fighting alone vs all this users for stop their propaganda i cant lets him fighting alone!
