Prince Hammer "Vengance" is a killer set IMO. Longtime I didn't spin it, but one of my fav deejay LP.

"Fatman Riddim section meets Downtown Horns At Channel One". That one is very average IMO. There is only one killer track IMO: the cut to "Rockfort Rock" which name escape me. I played this track to a friend yesterday, just a killer tune even better IMO than the Black Disciple cut "Free Rhodesia). Otherwise the 4 other instrumentals are just... cheesy.

Last, this one:

56 Hope Road // Earth Disciples - Peace Love and Harmony

is it an LP or a 7" or discomix?
Actually, my friend and I wondered yesterday if they had released an LP...

On the turntable now:

Another great deejay set

Thanx for the info about the Earth Disciples tune. I also think they never had an LP.

Been off-line for a bit, so to catch up, this was spinning at my place most recently:

Jimmy Cliff In Concert

I was looking for inspiration for the podcast I just posted. Got what I wanted! :)

There's no cover art for this archives page, if I had a scanner I'd send it in. I guess I really should break down and get one.
Peace,

James

right now it's [cover=717,834]
Came to this via the Greensleeves Ranking Dread 'Most Wanted' and the most crucial of all "Shut me Mouth", hilarious riddim track, timeless dynamite.

[cover=7687,5095]
It uses the rhythm track from Dennis Brown's "Breaking down the Barriers" which itself is a haunting interpretation of the song.

The original riddim and song was written by the late and great Trevor Bow and can be found on this 'Universal Message'.
Time to remember.
rougher yet
