Maybe Im just being stupid, but I cant seem to find anywhere selling the 2xLP Auralax reissue of this album.
I would have imagined there would be plenty going of this classic album, as this is meant to be the "definitive" reissue/remastering.
I see a couple of the Clocktower releases on ebay, but I want (what is apparently) "the most faithful-to-the-original mix", plus the bonus tunes.
Or am I wrong, and the Auralax is just another cash-in piece?
Thanks guys

The vinyl disappeared pretty quickly, it does turn up on ebay, but usually fetches £50+, I'm still after a release copy myself as I only have a test press without the sleeve and insert, last time I checked the CD was still relatively cheap, I'd suggest you pick that up in the meantime.

Wow ok.
Thats strange why they dont press more now, or did more originally when it came out. It would be making people nuff money.
So now its just the odd collector who sells a copy who makes the money, weird.
Thanks for your replies and info, night life posse and Dubmart.

I think that Auralux is now defunct - still trying to get some definite information, but all signs point to the fact that they don't do releases anymore...

Yes, the label is no longer active, a shame as they put out some good music, but that's they way things are these days, not many of the better reissue labels left.

Sad, I have a few of their CD's and they are TOP NOTCH.
Reggae music needs an outlet, this is NOT music for the "cloud" - it's meant to be played, enjoyed, danced to - clicks & pops included!

I'm fairly sure Auralux was on the up and up, too - no "grey area" licensing...

Re: 14 Dub Blackboard Jungle (Auralax)
leaving aside the mega rare original...
(1) best one to go for is the JA upsetter label reissue put out in a red sleeve - and taken from the original stampers 10 yrs or so ago
(2) the auralux LP is pretty good - although not taken from the original masters - has a great sound, extra tracks and is well worth seeking out

How about the bonus tracks on the Auralux issue?
Were these ever issued before? Worth seeking for?
