I rather M. Rose with Black uhuru but harvest time and day to day living are 2 great lps of don carlos, so it's hard to choose but to me i rather Black uhuru its more militant .

IT's a tie for me . I couldnt choose .Both of these artists have launched my emotions to the moon and back and in different stages in my life . Don & Michael = "My number 1"

Speaking of Don Carlos, he will be in San Jose this thursday, 7/27/06 for free, dowtown music in the park, I will surely be there, i live only three blocks away. hope some of you can make it. Oh and i am gonna have to go with Michael Rose on this one for the simple fact that i have only heard Laser Beam and Just a passing glance.

As a solo artist, I'm going with Don Carlos. Black Uhuru with Michael Rose mashed them down though, unforgettable stuff they recorded.

don carlos is certainly better than michael rose. "aint too proud to beg" and "hog and goat" are amazing songs
