I have always been a fan of Jackie Mittoo's music, specially the deep stuff from the 70s like "Wall Street" or "After Christmas".
Some time ago I bought the Compilation "Mike Brooks And Friends - Just The Vibes" which features the Jackie Mittoo produced track "Holy Jah Jah" by Mike Brooks (You tube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ucj19QQsjs0 ).
Are there more productions like that?
Bless, nilo

Seems like I missed out on that LP, thanks jordandance!
Though i really appreciate the hint, it's not really what i was looking for.
I was wondering, if there were other artists in the (late) 70s produced by Mittoo.
Or is the Mike Brooks tune mentioned an overdub? The Perry produced tracks sound very much like Perry riddims with vocals added much later to me. If so, "Holy Jah Jah" fits a lot better!

Two Jackie Mittoo produced albums were re-issued on CD recently (within tlhe last year) :
Stepping Tiger and Money Maker, apparently both from 1979 or so.
The label is Creole Stream Music (from Japan).
A search on the internet would give you some buying options, mainly from Japan.

Additionally, the Money Maker album uses Studio One backing tracks, one being Henry The Great, others are still unknown to me.
Four tracks from that LP were available on a Jackie Mitto [sic] 10" in the recent years with the tracks Give Me A Little Sunshine, Disco Dub, Casanova and Double Trouble.
The CD (as the original canadian album) is in full stereo, while the 10" tracks are mono.
