I have this week picked up this superb CD

It contains all the tracks that appear on this album

Roots Archives has the "Love Forever" CD as tracks being recorded 1975-1979 and the "Danger" album as being recorded in 1984, but to my ears these are the same songs with same mixes albeit the track lengths vary slightly.

Taking it that these are the same tracks, which of the two has the correct release date?

I am leaning towards the 1975-1979 period as I have always thought that the "Danger" album sounded pre 1984.

Fact is that the 'Danger' album from 1984 itself was a rerelease of this erlier original album:

Funny enough i`m sure I saw that album once on a stool at a market in Dorchester. Never realised it was an extremely rare album.

the original "love forever" as pictured was issued first in the UK on lloyd coxsone's tribesman label - fortunately - unlike many reissues - the "danger" LP has a good sound and must have been taken from the original masters - he's next one "lover leap" (scorpio JA) was also great....

I've always prefered the Lovers Leap LP. Perhaps due to it being a showcase set. But Love Forever is also an incredible set.
