I was in a shop the other day and they had about 8 different CD`s of Eric Donaldson on the "Serengeti" label.
I have just searched on RA and they only have 2 titles listed on that label.
I never really took much note of the titles but the cover photo`s certainly looked like it put these released mid-late 70`s and maybe into the early 80`s.
Can anyone tell me anything about this label and whether he had more releases during this period that are not on RA.
I have a few tracks of his from the late 60`s and early 70`s but nothing later.
Is his later stuff worth checking out.
Thanks
Dave

Re: Eric Donaldson "Serengeti" Label
Definitely. IMO Eric is one of the best singers to grace Jamaica, and he still sounds great to this day. Earlier this year I was in Belize, and people were still talking about a recent festival he headlined, and totally mashed up.
