Yes fabroots is born in jamaican but is consider a uk roots reggae artist.
when i was in london i went to ALL reggae shops and they say the same UK ROOTS REGGAE ARTIST. and believe me is so difficult find any kind of album they say (the record shop owners) he made is own cd distribution??
but thanks to SIL in massive records in camden lock market and his contacts i get a few ijahman items.

But just can't understand why he is said to be a uk reggae artist, I never heard that before; his albums were recorded in jamaica with jamaicans, he's jamaican, playing jamaican music ? strange thing isn't it ?
