Well bang goes my respect for this forum, surprised and disappointed at the lack of moderation and blatant racist undertones of this thread. An eye opener if nothing else.

Re: Not Bad for a whiteboy
wow...what a pathetic thread...
The person singing is simply singing a Bob Marley song in his own way, with his native English accent, with, and that's a fact, a good mastery of guitar, probably much better than any of this thread's commentators. Where is the trouble? Why so much hate? Judge not and love thy neighbor. Different strokes for different folks.
There really is trouble in the world, didn't you notice? So think positive, and act positive.
Fools rush in, but Jah sees & knows.

Re: Not Bad for a whiteboy
I do not know what the problem is...why the disappointment???? we love di reggae and we do not like that reggae becomes water down with some people that dont understand dat reggae is culture not just a style ......yu feel dat snow or people lik im givin di reggae di props giving it da full respect`?????? naaaaahhhh, dat man is not serious about reggae....di video from jim carrey is completly right. and I guess if that what happened at the end of the video would happen in reality to him...that would have been nearly justice...because what him have done to reggae. him raped reggae...verbally.....I hope him will never make music again..he is like di vanilla ice guy to hip hop....and you defend some guy like dat...
ok dat guy in the video which sings di bob marley song....he is just making it maybe so some guys can say..."oh wow you have a good voice" but does him feel dat song?? maybe this song is made for people like him...I think Island has also watered down marley's music and made it a bit wishi washi but of course not to dat extent like mr snow

Re: Not Bad for a whiteboy
Both Glenroy and Alonso made a good point here.
I myself am a little fed up with some people on this forum, specially on this thread.
So indeed, anything that seems *remotely* racist, rude or disrespectful (yes, I am specially addressing you, JLY) will be deleted. You only try to make a fool out of someone else, no positive input whatsoever and furthermore, racist remarks, insults and phony patois (and that's not an insult!)
Please don't try to explain or excuse yourself on this thread. If you want to be taken serious, take some time to register and PM me.

I am not a racist...I say just there are some guys whom dont take reggae fe serious. like snow or people like ziggy marley..di last time I heard good recordings from ziggy is a long time ago...and why can I not say whe me feel. and me knuh dat dere a some atha guys tink di same. I am not racist...not at all....but I think there are some hypocrites in this business who try to destroy reggae from the inside. that's my personal opinion...maybe dat sound crazy to you all but that is what peter touch used to say...everybody wants to destroy reggae wid dem funky funny sound..

This has been posted on here before but I don't know if Jahlionyouth has seen it. I suspect that his head will explode.
Vanilla Ice covers Bob Marley. In a phoney Jamaican accent. It had to happen eventually.
