I haven't ordered this one. Primarily because I haven't got the same impression of it such as some of the Blood & Fire dub compilations. If I'm going to buy a compilation (dub or not) I often want it to have a coherent feel.
Albums such as *Freedom Sounds In Dub*, *Termination Dub*, *Dub It To The Top*(one of the best BAF-compilation in my opinion), *Dub In The Roots Tradition* all feel like a dub album (or double) that could have been released in those days.
But when the first impression is that the it's just a compilation of dubs then the interest just drops for me. And that is unfortunately the case with this album.
Would have loved to see them go a slightly different route with their first release.
... good God I sound pessimistic. It's not my intention. I'm glad that they are releasing stuff. I just had my hopes a bit up and expectations elsewhere. It's probably a brilliant compilation.
These are not just a scatter-shot assembly if the same old Bunny Lee tracks that get re-packaged under different titles. There are a few rare dubs for which I have been searching for many many years.
Congrats to the boys on their first release. I am eagerly awaiting more.
