Long Island's Inity was a great local band here in New York, excellent roots reggae from white rastas. From the comercial side, we have the Cannabis Cup Band, Easy Star All Dub Star, John Brown's Body just to name a few.

should local roots be a topic to this site, this site is info on albums of the past and to gather lost info and to add, and to search for those lost gemms , this throws off what people are in search of

I hope this FORUM can cover everything under the "REGGAE" umbrella

I often visit the ozreggae forum and it is becoming a haven for what I call the NEGATIVE MASSIVE.
People who have nothing nice to say about eachother

or just jump on anyone they disagree with.

That is why I visit this forum ......everyone seems to just want to share and learn
not DIS eachother.

Don't limit your selves

Each one teach one

IrieMystic is on the right track...read the (ABOUT) page/link:

The purpose of this website is to bring you a comprehensive and searchable database of Jamaican Roots Reggae Albums from 1970 to 1985.
Please also note that we don't plan to cover reggae areas other than 1970-85 which is our personal favourite.

And this is suprising:
SRY BUT THERE ARENT ANY WHITE RASTAS WHERE ARE FAMILY ///PEACE\\

White rastas...strange you would have a preference... INI thought we were all family?!

i think everyone chose to ignore that white rasta comment.... it's just an irrelevant opinion.

i dunno what you are talking about Dj BdR...If you are implying that ranking rios from San Diego is going to be recognized as a good dj than you are CRAZY!! If anything he'll be recognized as the guy who steals other bredren's lyrics and toasts them himself.Or maybe the guy who goes to people's parties and jacks their rare albums.. The so called "dj's" from Southbay need to come up with their own stuff and than maybe people will talk about them..until then..i doubt it.
