Albums that you would like to see get a GOOD re issue

Post by selecta bing »

Taj Mahal made an album, Mo' Roots, in about 73/74 with some assistance
from Aston 'Family Man' Barret.
I love his versions of SLAVE DRIVER and JOHNNY TOO BAD,
but it is obvious that the tracks were edited for the time contraints of vinyl.
I would love to hear this album in a FULL, unedited version.
Lick it back Selecta!

The Gladiators - Presenting the Gladiators (Studio One)

Really wish we could get a definitive re-issue of this with nice sound, complete track list (of all versions) and good sound!

Did I repeat good sound? I meant "nice artwork" -- and liner notes!

life is contradiction --> already repressed several times. Last time was by pressure sounds in 2008 (including bonus tracks and such) And on a side-note. I once found +- 200 unsold dead stock copies of the album Joe Gibbs - family.

"Blackjack Davey" was pretty sweet too. IIRC all three tracks are on Taj's "World Music" compilation.
