Anybody whose heard of him must be aware of those crazy sound effects; which i find to be entertaining and interesting.
Out of all the foundation tapes, i've never heard him DJ
is he just a hype man or what?

Interestingly 'War And Crime' was issued on a Youth Promotion 7" but it was credited to Sugar Minott And Jackie Knock Shot (and not Jackie Lickshot)!

I'm not sure however Jackie lickshot sounds like a female and i've never heard of the war and crime track

Joe Lickshot released a dub LP under his name where he basically just introduces every track with some talk and sound effects. It's called Worlds at Dub or something. Late eighties digital dub if I remember correctly.

Joe Lickshot was followed by the excellent Jackie Knockshot who also was doing cartoons. Unfortunately Jackie Knockshot has died.
