Everton Da Silva

I came to realise that many of my favorite 12's on both Rockers and Hungry Town label are credited to the producer called Everton Da Silva.

I know everyone is familiar with his name, but I'm curious to know more about the man... i.e. where he hail from, when did he start in the business, what was his relations with pablo, and maybe get to know some more of his works...

All info and knowledge shared on this producer highly appreciated.

He came from New York.. Murdered in 78/79..

very little information about him that i could ever find. aside from the hungry town productions everton dasilva is credited with percussion on a lot of other augustus pablo music.

He was born in Jamaica 10/18/54. Moved to NYC around 73 and began producing around 76 under his Hungry Town label and Augustus Pablo's Rocker's. Worked with Horace Andy, Augustus Pablo, Roman Stewart, George Nooks (Prince Mohammed),Barrington Spence and Jacob Miller. Was killed in New York on May 9, 1980.
