Last year i read 'life'the keith richards autobiography and thought it quite strange that richards never once mentioned peter tosh in it even though they had history together. Do you think he didn't like him so much he just blanks him out.
What do you think???

I wondered the same thing, as Keith seemed to make a point of highlighting his Jamaican encounters in the book. I know that Tosh wasn't happy with his arrangement with Rolling Stones Records over royalties and lack of promotion, which is why he signed with Capital / EMI after the contract with The Stones expired.
Keith may be following the rule of "if you don't have anything nice to say, say nothing".

Keith Richards gave Peter Tosh the run of his Jamaican home while he was signed to the Rolling Stones record label. When Keith decided to move back in he wasn't impressed with the state of his property and the people who Peter Tosh had invited in.
A fierce argument eventually broke out and Peter and his entourage were kicked out into the street.
I read that as fact in a Keith Richard interview that he gave many years ago. Out of respect, he may now keep diplomaticly quiet about the whole incident.

News to me. It's a rumour. Too many rumours going round on the Reggae circuit i.e Gregory - and none of it good. Personally, I think that Keith Richards is usually too stoned (no pun) and has other bigger things in life to worry about than dealing out retribution a former troublesome pal and lodger.

I've never seen Keith come off as a prick in any interviews but Peter on the other hand I've always thought to be too preachy and very moody/up on his high horse at times. From what I've seen I wouldn't be surprised if Mr. Tosh started the whole thing but I'm outside lookin in.

the story of Tosh damaging part of Richards' property is no rumour, is has been written about many a times...now, what we of course don't know is why Richards chose not to mention Tosh in his book
