Sorry for taking so much time to reply Inyaki, I just read your question... i thought at the time to Unos, dos, tres by Stranger & Ken (Black Swan 1963), which is not for Studio One.

I forgot about this Zonard!
They are struggling counting to 6, the rest is in english!
I thought a Ska tune in spanish was gonna be uncovered....disappointed!
Happy New Year.
( other JA songs before that with a few spanish words were done in old Mentos and even on Oh Carolina
...... ''Oh Carolina tan bonita '' )

Re: Reggae en Espanol
in the early 60's Toño Quirazco was leading a ska orchestra in Mexico, kind of Byron Lee or Carlos Malcolm...
Check also this nuns: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBVcyi2uV4M weird!
Laurel Aitken recorded an album in Spanish.
There are several bands with reggae influenced material in Southamerica and Spain since the 80's. The more rootsy stuff I believe is more recent.
For me the best are still Los Pericos!

The Ethiopians' "Quando mi amor" has most lyrics in Spanish, not much though
