Reading Material ?
I am new to reading books about jamaican music (reggae) I have only read books on Bob Marley, So I thought maybe some of you on this forum could help me out and recommend me some good reading material that does not focus only on Bob Marley, Maybe some must Reads ?

Bass Culture & Solid Foundation are both good reads...
Not strictly 'bout reggae but I just read Waking Up In Jamaica & that's also pretty cool!

I've just got the book "The Rough Guide To Reggae" in the "Rough Guide" Series and it's really good if you don't wanna read and read and read but just look in it because it has very many pictures and stuff and it's not really a book that you can sit with and just read for hours if you know what i mean.

Yeah, biggup the Rough Guide...lots of album reviews and recommendations in all the categories of reggae.

The Rough Guide IMO is an essential reference book. The Lee Perry book by David Katz is good and very detailed. Katz has also written an oral history of reggae which is excellent! It's called Solid Foundation.
