Hi all,
Jus discovered "Tony Tuff meets Earl 16 at the Dubfront" album. Really enjoyed the album and it's digital roots, its surprised me.
Anything else be recommended? Have great roots collection 70s into early 80s but need some album recommendations from here.
Have some mad professor and on-u releases. looking for stuff on European/JA labels..
Have been attending University of Dub events and what some of what they're playing.....

Re: Digital roots
hi,I got into digital dub before I ever heard of Tubby, Jammy etc. First label I got into was Dubhead. Excellent compilations of bands like Iration Steppas, Bush Chemists, Etherealites, Nucleus Roots. Then Conscious Sounds label.the mighty Jah Shaka,Dub Judah. This is not the right forum for discussing digi-roots but there is good stuff out there. Enjoy!

Re: Digital roots
Yea i gathered that, had a search of forum posts before posting.
Have most of Jah Shaka studio output- find it can be variable though some of it I enjoy. Awesome at the dance tho.
Will try iration Steppas, Bush Chemists et al. Any albums in particular.
Any other sites/forums that might put me in right direction?

"Light up your Chalice"by Bush Chemists
"Light up your Spliff" by Bush Chemists
"Time is the Master"by East Meets west(A great album with a cover of London Calling by the Clash!)
anything by The Etherealites( Brighton based dub, there was one album called "Embers" which is very scarce, some of their singles are available)
anything by (Nick)Manasseh; recently producing for Roots Garden label who have a couple of 12" e.ps available and numerous 7"s; but first check out his Dubplate Vol.1 & 2 cds.
Sound Iration in Dub-comprising Manasseh and members of Ruts D.C and Youth from Killing Joke
Dub Judah- Babylon Is A Trap LP
Anything by Alpha & Omega
Anything by The Disciples
Anything by Mungos HiFi
