anyone own the Travelers - Black Black Minds CD?

Post by hot milk »

i have this Pressure Sounds release on vinyl and just randomly saw a photo of the back cover of the CD release, with that WICKED '70s street scene, presumably Kingston. don't know why they didn't include this shot in the vinyl reissue!!

can anyone find a photographer credit in the sleeve notes? would LOVE to see if there are more of these from this photographer out there! wicked wicked wicked

The credits say

Photography: Paul Coote & Noel Hawks
Artwork & Design: Ben & Rachael @ Bubble

I hope you manage to find more pictures.

Anyone know a song similar to Peace and Rest? It goes something like "coast to coast were going coast to coast" it is sung in the same way as when the Mighty Travellers "forward on forward on". I remember hearing a similarly sung song but I can't remember what it is.

star -- many thanks! i'll see if i can get a beat on any more...can't help you with the other song you mention though. the only "coast" song i know from this era is lone rangers' "screw gone a north coast"

marky -- no doubt, heavy jammy's produced business. i don't think all their vocals/melodies are top notch, but when they hit they kill it, and the riddims are of course top a top.
