local reggae singers and bands
I'm doing a reggae show in a few weeks time via my cousins show on internet radio. As a change from the normal show that I've done before I thought that I'd big up the audiences reggae artists from their towns. And that's where my problem begins. London, Birmingham and Bristol ain't no real problem problem. Ipswich I can use Jah Warriors and YT, but can anyone suggest something for Leeds, Sheffield, Leicester, Norwich and Manchester (apart from X*O*D*U*S* - See Them A Come, that one's pencilled in). I need for the artists material to be accessable ie youtube or myspace. I need to compile the material for the show by the 20th April. I normally do a 50 or so minutes slot. If I've enough material, I'll take most of the 2 hour slot if required, thanks.

Re: local reggae singers and bands
Let me clarify this post. My cousin does a reggae show on tuesday evenings 2200hrs - midnight. Ever Ready on www.peterboroughfm. The Bashment Show it's called. It's very popular, google it. I guest spot on it occassionly. I'd like to do on my next session a show featuring UK artists - homegrown artists. I have tunes from a multitude of artists. But I don't know the details of where they're all from or based. My cousin, being a DJ has even more. I could fill my spot with artists from London and Birmingham, but I'd LIKE other artists to have their music aired. Now, if you know of a reggae singer or band that hails from your area that has cut a tune please let me know. If we've got it I'll play it and mention the area i.e Jah Warriors from the Ipswich area.

I never knew that he sold music as well,. He's normally buying it. I'll have a word with him about that. See if I can get him to be flexible

Hi.My cousin doesn't remember the occasion. and as I thought, he doesn't sell anything that he buys often. I've now heard the tune. It's very good. I now understand why you wanted it!
