Good to hear the Jah Mel coming out again. It's long overdue. I had my hopes and suspicions that this would happen after the incredible »Sufferer's Song« was reissued by Iroko.
Also it's interesting to see this four year old thread pop up again. Since then I've managed to find two of the three records I posted on the first page. Today I'd probably say the following two album are my most sought after:
Edi Fitzroy Meets Roots Radics at Channel One (Musical Ambassador LP)
Lovers Dub (Venture LP)
Prince Mohammed (Hungry Town LP)
Missed an auction years ago with the Edi one when it when dirt cheap. But some day! Perhaps in ten years or so!

The Kingstonians - Sufferer.
I keep saving up for an original Trojan pressing but I just can't justify the price. Heck, I'd take the Attack repress but even that is going for big $$.

That Badoo LP is incredible. It's one of the finest rub-a-dub albums I've had the joy to hear.

Ah yes, vinyl lust! This is a great thread... mine would have to be:
Tradition / Captain Ganja & The Space Patrol [Venture]
I've been fortunate to get a hold of their other LPs with the exception of "High Risk Dub" so maybe one day...

You know that High Risk Dub is the same as Tradition in Dub (BPI LP)? Thinking if you already had Tradition in Dub so you wouldn't have to spend any big money on buying it again in a different issue.
The Tradition albums are all great. The only ones I don't have are High Risk/Trad in Dub and the Lovers Dub (I don't know if it's regarded as a Tradition dub LP though).

Tradition is crucial! What a great mix of soul and roots reggae.
I don't have Tradition in Dub on vinyl either...
I think some of the rhythms are the same between High Risk/Trad in Dub but I believe its a different mixing session...
Some of the same rhythms appear on Tell Your Friends About Dub also.

As far as I know they are exactly the same.Brother Justin wrote:

Tradition In Dub came first in a plain sleeve and very small quantity. Then they issued High Risk with a proper sleeve as a somewhat regular pressing.

Re: What album would you want if you could get it
My top 10 badly wanted records:
Lee Perry / Rhythm Shower
Clancy Eccles / Sound System International Dub
Bobby Kalphat / Zion Hill Dub
Randy's Dub
Conflict Dub
Bullet Dub
Crueshal Dub
Black Heat Dub
Ja Man Dub
Morwells / Dub Me
But of course there are some more .... and aside of Dub it's the lesser known Lee Perry / Good Bad & The Upsetter (which is different to the common UK title of the Upsetters without Perry!!).
