Yes, the lucky madcap was me ;-)

Of course it is expensive anyhow, but I expected it even higher.
I let Lovers Dub go to concetrate on Eccles alone.

@ Dubbaddikt

Got it yesterday very fast and I'm absolutely impressed. Great dub anyhow, but also a very good sound from top to bottom. Crystal clear highs and a big heavy, very crisp bass. Great condition far better than expected. Near mint playback.
After all I'm very happy with my purchase despite loosing big bucks.

Are there any more infos on the reissue? It's said to be King Tubby dubs, which seems pretty possible to my ears, but it's not mentioned on the original cover. Only info there is: "produced and arranged by Clancy Eccles".

@lost shoe, the blurb on the back cover says recorded at W.I.R.L studios produced by Andy Capp and Sid Bucknor then mixed by King Tubby at Tubbys..played it last night and sounds like Tubby's touch at the controls to me...nice vibesss..

Thanks for info.
Strange, that my cover lists only Clancy Eccles as producer, while your cover ignores him completely. I guess that all three were involved in the production.

If I have a chance to compare the original press with the reissue I will come back here to report.

actually i checked again and it does list Clancy as "arranger & producer" so youre right all three were involved. Ive listened to the lp several times now and like it a lot, nice dubs especially like Dub Star and Garrison. Thanks for bringing it to my attention :)
