if donc arlos and garth dennis would of stayed with black uhuru would they of been known as 'black uhuru" or "uhuru sounds of freedom" ?
and would of they sounded the same as of when michael rose took the lead

from wht i know, the 45 on top cat, there first single a curtis mayfield tune called "folk song", at that time on the label they were jus called uhuru. uhuru is african for freedom. i do have the chune,in kriss condition. dun sound nuhn like the later black uhuru, which consist of michael rose an puma, then later junior reid. it was jus dem style inna the 70s.

ok i know their whole bio but thats not my question i have "folk song" on cd from pressure sounds label

Personally, I feel that Sly & Robbie have contributed way more to the Black Uhuru sound than Michael Rose. Yet I have to express my doubts whether Don Carlos' lead would have been as suitable to the rhythm twins' sound as Rose's, for Rose has an uniquely militant yet wailing sound that suits Sly's overly militant drumming style perfectly.

ur right but have u ever imagined like black uhuru (don carlos, garth, and simpson) and the roots radics band not sly & robby but roots radics that would of been a heavy roots band like the viceroys
