Anyone know anything about this release?

It sounds kinda like it might be new vocals recorded over vintage material

I can't find any info on in by googeling it

It's kinda dub poetry in places listening to the sound samples, trying to decide if it's worth buying

Hi

I put this out on TABOU1 in 1999 or 2000, not sure. When it was submitted to me, I liked it immediately, first because I'm a big dub poetry fan, and second because the guy has a very likeable sense of vulnerability and humility. We did a couple of overdubs with Cat Coore on a few tracks.

Riddims are acoustic, live recorded. Not famous session musicians like Roots Radics or Sly & Robbie, but good, solid and rootsy. You should give it a shot.

Cool thanks for the info gbougard

I really enjoyed the sound clips on Amazon

Great job on the backing tracks then as I felt sure they might have been vintage

I will give it a shot
