Word has reached me that Ossie Hibbert died last Sunday. A talented keyboard player, percussionist and producer.
I'm sure all of us who remember his tunes i.e. Gregory Isaacs - Mr Know It All, will join together in honouring the loss of another legend.

absolutely, RIP. a very talented and unheralded musician and producer. i'm a big fan of his productions, and the countless roots tunes he was involved in while getting no credit. if you like tough steppers form that '77-'78 time period, this is a major loss that will no doubt fly under the radar.
