I'm not sure about my favorite but one of the best isn't even mentioned;

Roy Ranking & Raymond Naptali - Late Night Session (CF)

It's one of the nicest combination LP's I've heard. Haven't got it yet though. Anyone that has a copy and is willing to trade please send a PM.

i get the impression in the late seventies a lot of JA reggae was specifically made with the UK audience in mind, like many of Dennis Brown's own productions, Ranking Dread, Twinkle Brothers, you know that gloomy steppers kind of reggae... Also Mikey Dread etc.
Or am I wrong here?

Ranking Dread released his first two albums on english labels though so it's quite natural one might feel.
