I could be wrong but that doesn't sound like Jimmy to me, it sounds like an African singer rather than a Jamaican one... not that narrowing down to a continent helps

Some singer from outside Jamaica I guess. A calypso artist from Trinidad maybe, somehow that was my first thought. Or a nameless 80s-one-hit-wonder from england doing a commercial style lovers rock. Nice track though.
