African Dub All-Mighty Chapters 1, 2, 3 & 4

Chapter 3 sounds as if it mastered from vinyl, or at least a large part of it. On track 3 of Chapter 3 the horns sounds distorted (too loud).

Is there a better sounding release of chapter 3 available on cd?

I have Chapter 3 paired with Chapter 4 on a Crazy Joe Records release distributed by Joe Gibbs Europe (joegibbseurope.com). They were easy to find a few years ago. To my ears, the sound is great. I'm not sure if it's what you're talking about, but there's definitely a lot of intentional distortion on Tribesman Rockers (track 3) - more with the keyboards than the horns, tho.

thanks for the info. I wasn't sure if the distortion was intentionally, I thought I had a bad remaster.
