US Greensleeves. Got a JA on Thompson Sound lying around here, too.

Re: linval thompson ?
As long as the JA doesn't have a pressing or sound flaw, I usually keep that copy. The OG Thompson Sound is on some very thick wax and seems to have more umph (if you know what I mean).

I have the JA version of Look How Me Sexy and it is actually a really good pressing. But is the Greensleeves copy an identical mix?

Re: linval thompson ?
That depends if you have an original press from 1982 or a later release.
As mentioned somewhere else, all Greensleves records were mastered in England to 'fix' them for non-jamaican listeners. The Thompson Sound original since has a slightly different sound.
Strangely, when Linval Thompson started rereleasing material later on (since the beginning of the 1990s) he used not the jamaican masters but the ones from the Greensleves albums.
