Tidals and The mighty Tides

Hi,

Can someone confirm that the Mighty Tides and Tidals are the same trio.

It seems to be that way, but Iam not sure.

Tough call. Though both recorded largely at Channel One, The Tidals seem bit earlier and have strong lead vocal with more harmonious background. The Mighty Tides were involved with a young Frankie Paul so maybe the same but definitely lineup change somewhere in between. And if you look at The Tidals best of comp of sorts, Great Days, or any other of their channel one or gg 7" none of their tracks are the same as The Mighty Tides, which usually you can find a link somewhere with that sort of testing method. But the members of the Tidals were Winston Cleveland, Eupert Reid & Aston Pryce and used the name from 60s until 2000s so I'd think it would be odd to switch names, though it happens regularly. But every interview I've read by them never mentions performing under mighty name or reference any of their songs... I'd follow the Frankie Paul connection.. I'm huge Tidals fan so definitely would like concrete answer one way or another. Hope this helps

Hmm Thanks Rhygin interesting info if I say so. I found an emailadress of the Tidals but the msg bounched. Eventually I will contact them one way or another and ask them. I want to know more about the Mighty Tides.
