Vernon Buckley question

I have a tune Mr. Soft Hand, credited to Vernon Buckley of Maytones on UK Grape label, but its clearly not Vernon Buckley.
To confuse matters even more, the Trojan discography credits Buckley as the vocalist for some strange reason.
I think it sounds more like the Starlites lead singer (cant remember his name now) but maybe I'm totally wrong.

Any ideas???

it's an Uk miscredit, you're right it is Stanley Beckford. Credited to the Starlites on GG's jamaican Hit! label.

Ah thanks for clearing that Jumbo.
I'm surprised that the Trojan discog got it wrong though, since they do actually correctly credit a lot of the miscredits, how did they miss that one?
I guess they must have quite a few more wrong ones in there too...
