I know most of us have them, but the one I've listened to is very nice, not a GZ pressing and for the £10-£11 they are on Amazon a bit of a bargain. If you don't own a nice original copy of any of them then grab one of these before they double in price.

Nice to see these on quality wax, but other than Man From Wareika, it's a pretty uninspired series if you ask me. They should have included a Justin Hinds LP.

I suspect they are aimed more at the emerging vinyl market than serious Reggae collectors, there are probably a lot of people who only have "War In A Babylon", "Funky Kingston" and "Police And Thieves" on CD. It's a safe and easy way for those people to get brand new decent vinyl, I thought it was nice that they included the Jah Lion, it wasn't exactly a big seller first time round and finding really clean copies isn't easy. If I still had a shop I'd been stocking up on the above titles along with the Rico and "Super Ape", not sure I'd bother with the Black Uhuru though.
