Searching For An Old Reggae Song i heard in the early '90s

i was born in the '80s....while growing up in the early 90's i heard a reggae song which unfortunately i have no idea who sang it and i would love to find it now.... its basically a reggae song about the beatitudes in the bible (Matthew 5) - the singer says something like: "...Blessed are merciful for they shall obtain mercy.." and there's a chorused response which sounds like "blessings afresh" (i might b wrong bout wot exactly d chorus is buh, its kinda long time ago) and the singer goes on to reel out the rest then ends with: "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see the father" etc...pls any clues? av searched far and wide but since i dont hav something concrete to search by, it feels like a wild goose chase....
