The Page One & The Observers album "Observation Of Life Dub"
http://www.roots-archives.com/release/3873
is often referred to as the dub companion to the Heptones' "Better Days" LP. And this is true for 9 out of 10 of the tracks. However The Heptones song "Key To Her Heart" doesn't have a version on the dub album. The remaining dub track "Lover's Dub" is a version of the Mighty Diamonds' "Well Hot".
Does anyone know if there actually exists a dub on the "Key To Her Heart" riddim?

Interesting. I've never had the privilege to hear the Observation Of Life Dub album but Better Days is a nice set. Thanks for the info on this.
Sorry I can't help with your question though.

Re: Observation Of Life Dub
Observation Of Life Dub" is included on this CD including the dub to "Key To Her Heart" called "Loves Dub"
[cover=3849,2466]
The tracks are in showcase style with the vocal followed by its dub counterpart and I don`t recall "Loves Dub" being a version of Mighty Diamonds "Well Hot".
Its ages since I had this CD so I suppose I could be mistaken.

Nah, the Observer's Style CD does feature both the "Better Days" and "Observation Of Life Dub" albums. But "Love's Dub" isn't a dub of "Key To Her Heart", it's a version of "Well Hot" a single by Tabby Diamond & The Heptones.

The VP label included both "Better Days" and the dub album in their "Deep Roots Observer Style" box set last year. Sounds great.
