Hi,

Its excellent, basically the dub to pick up the peices album. Has Prince far I & Knowledge on a couple of tracks and I roy on a couple of tracks.

Recorded at Channel One, Dynamic Sounds, Harry J and King Tubbys and was mixed by Scientist King Tubby, Sylvan Morris, soljie, maxie and so on.

All the major players present(get the picture)just go and buy it.

anyone fancy a vote for Eastman dub by Augustus Pablo? I love it, as the dubs are highly melodious and do not lack that killer element of thrilling, lead weight, brooding bass either.And,,,,a real bonus...the riddims are dubs to Tetrack's Lets get started but are not very well known, overplayed, done to death pieces like bag o wire..On the issue of good dub, Shaka has done some fine albums, with a mystical, religious type feel to them .Anyone like these?

i agree with riddim junkie, people shouldnt muck about with rerggae to suit white ears,,or any ears that don't like heavy roots.Just look at the mess that Aswad and Third World have become now.

Hi Sean,

I have "Jah Shaka meets Aswad in Addis Ababa" and Jah Shaka meets Mad Professor in Addis Ababa". They are good but I wouldn`t say they are amounst my favourite dub albums.

I also had the "Ten Commandments of Dub vol 1" but was not to my tastes as it contained to much of the siren noise that were at that time very popular on his sound system.

I asked about that some time ago on another thread and was told that this is the only one of the Ten Commandments series that used the siren sound effect so the other might be worth a listen.

On Eastmun Dud, I have to agree, its an excellent album although I have ot on the twoofer with Tetracks "Lets get Started" which is also excellent in its own right.
