Hi there,
This might seem like an odd post. But I don't know where to look!
I'd love to be a selector or build a pure roots sound system.
Been collecting some big tunes on vinyl in the last couple of years and asking around for places i could play my stuff, but unfortunately without success.
I was just wondering if they were some people living in London who would be interested in creating a Roots Revival sound system or if you have any selector prospects.
Although I love new wave reggae/dub and digital, I'm a bit of a purist. Oldies all the way (Johnny Osbourne, Johnny Clarke, The Congos, Culture, Black Uhuru, Gregory, etc.)
If there is any way you could help out or if anyone is interested please contact me (obermeister.noam@gmail.com)
Best, Noam

Building a sound is expensive! Also it's increasingly difficult to find venues in which to play. Here at the capital in Sweden it's near impossible to be honest. London is having a similar situation from what I've understood.

Very true. But with some motivation, devotion and patience you can build up a small sound at first, and London still remains a really important hub in reggae. It is a very very difficult mountain to climb. I'll acknowledge that.

Yes, Noam. Didn't mean to sound disheartening in any way. I think it's a great thing that you want to start building a sound. And as you say. Start small (one stack) and continue from there. I wish you all the best with this.

Hi there. I sent you an e-mail yesterday, at the one you gave me in the PM but I got a notification saying that it hadn't sent properly for some reason. Could you confirm if you got it or not/that the e-mail is correct? Thanks, bless.
